We have deep regional expertise in Asia built over more than a decade of experience. Our Value and Quality strategy has natural tailwinds in Asia, and our investment process is highly disciplined and repeatable. Ben Truck
Founder & Portfolio Manager
Ben Truck is the Founder and Portfolio manager of Truck Capital. Prior to Founding Truck Capital, he was a Partner at Millgate Capital, an international equity-focused Tiger cub. Mr. Truck started his career as a strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting. He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University.

Tony Wong
Partner & Senior Analyst
Mr. Wong joined Truck Capital in 2015 as a Senior Analyst. Prior to joining Truck Capital, Mr. Wong was a Managing Director at Maybank in the Institutional Equities division. Prior to Maybank, Mr. Wong was a portfolio manager and analyst for Asian and Japanese long-short equities at Arrowhawk Capital Partners and its predecessor firm, FrontPoint Partners. Mr. Wong started his career at Morgan Stanley as a financial analyst in New York. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia University.
Andrew Atha
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Atha joined Truck Capital in December 2014. Mr. Atha has been Truck Capital’s CFO, COO and CCO for more than 8 years. Prior to joining Truck Capital, Mr. Atha, was CFO, COO, and CCO at Acuity Capital Management. Prior to Acuity, he worked as COO at Stevens Asset Management and as CFO at Pivot Capital Advisors. Mr. Atha graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and is also a CFA charterholder and member of the NYSSA.
Thao Phuong Nguyen
Vietnam-Based Analyst
Ms. Nguyen joined Truck Capital in June 2022. Previously she was a Private Equity Analyst at VinaCapital in Ho Chi Minh City. She received her BSc at Erasmus University Rotterdam in International Economics and Business Economics, and her MSc in Finance from National University of Singapore. Ms. Nguyen works out of Truck Capital’s Ho Chi Minh City office.
Phat Le Huu Tran
Vietnam-Based Analyst
Mr. Tran joined Truck Capital in October 2022. Phat was born and educated in Vietnam, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. He has eight years of prior experience in investment banking and investment analysis at Viet Capital Securities and Lien Viet Securities. Phat is also in the process of completing his Master of Finance degree from Massey University in Vietnam.
Sophia Wiedenmann
Research & Operations Assistant
Mrs. Wiedenmann joined Truck Capital in September 2019. Previously she held several Executive Assistant positions in New York and Germany. She received her Bachelor of Science in International Business at National Taiwan University. Mrs. Wiedenmann is fluent in Japanese and Mandarin Chinese.
Hung Luong Vu
Vietnam-Based Analyst
Mr. Vu joined Truck Capital in April 2024. Previously he was an Investment Analyst for three years at Viet Capital Asset Management in Ho Chi Minh City. He received his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne with a major in Finance and Economics.
